By accessing or using the FraudDetect API ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
FraudDetect API provides real-time transaction risk scoring via a REST API. The Service assigns a probabilistic fraud score between 0 and 1 to submitted transactions based on behavioural signals. It is a decision-support tool, not a regulated financial service.
Fraud scores are probabilistic estimates, not guarantees. The Service will produce false positives (legitimate transactions flagged as risky) and false negatives (fraudulent transactions that are not flagged). You are solely responsible for deciding how to act on any score returned by the API.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRAUDDETECT API AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 30 days preceding the claim.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

You may delete all stored data for any user at any time by calling DELETE /api/v1/users/:user_id. This permanently removes the user profile and all associated transaction records from our systems. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
